This is my second go-round at photograpy as a hobby, photohobby 2.0 if you will.
The first was back on film (color and b&w). I loved the process of it - taking pictures, developing the prints. But it can be labor intensive, location prohibitive (I don't have access to a darkroom anymore), and chemically (is that a word?).
Enter digital photography. While print is still my favorite medium to showcase a photo, posting to this blog gives me the freedom, access, and network to share my photos with millions of people.
In addition, I hope this photoblog will help me grow as a photographer - and "force" me to get out there and take more photos.
One thing I do know is that this site will evolve over time. Another thing I know is that I need to post more photos ASAP!
