I used a similar technique on this photo to what I used on yesterday's photo. Instead of just a blue window, it now becomes about the window and the shadows with the increased contrast. I think it ends up actually becoming a more balanced photo. I'm beginning to explore more of the options in Camera Raw that can really make an impact on the original photo. But maybe I should be concentrating on taking more photos than messing around with computer settings. Eh.
On another note, I ordered some new camera gear today from B&H. I picked up an external flash and some other lighting gear to expand my "studio" equipment. I'm excited to start trying out stuff with a flash. I've almost exclusively used natural light for the photos I've posted here - so look for some new lighting stuff in the weeks to come.
